Khushbu Patel, DO

Khushbu Patel, DO, is board certified in nephrology and internal medicine. She graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2013 and moved to North Carolina to complete her internal medicine residency at Carolinas Healthcare System – BlueRidge. She then pursued her nephrology fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center and completed it in 2018. She is trained in providing care for patients with renal diseases, dialysis and transplantation. She is currently a member of the American Society of Nephrology and the National Kidney Foundation.

In addition to patient care, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also partakes in a variety of extracurricular activities, including arts and crafts, painting, do-it-yourself projects, swimming and martial arts. Finally, she loves to travel and explore the world, and aspires to take at least one international trip a year.
